8 Hour Safe Driving Course

  • The minimum class requirement for new drivers in CT.
  • All classes are held virtually via Zoom.
  • New classes start daily. Classes can be taken in any order at any day or time that they are held
  • Can be completed in one 8-hour day (adults only), two 4-hour sessions or four 2-hour sessions.
  • Includes all state requirements, including the Parent Class and Drug & Alcohol Class.

PRICING: $150, plus any DMV fees. *Students must be under the age of 22 at the time of testing.

  • Avoid going to the DMV! The DMV inspector comes to our classroom location.
  • A Next Street Testing Host is on site to answer any last minute questions and help calm any nervous feelings.
  • Use our car!
  • After you pass, the DMV will mail your driver's license to you within 7-10 days.
  • Driver’s License Tests are offered at The Next Street facilities in Avon, Cheshire, Danbury, Enfield, Glastonbury, Guilford, Hamden, Monroe, Norwalk, Old Saybrook, Orange, Rocky Hill, Seymour, Southbury, Stamford, Torrington, Wallingford, Watertown and Westport.

WORLD CLASS DRIVER'S ED Licensing a new driver, with all the requirements, including driver's ed, can be a maelstrom of confusion.
